DiscoveryTel has established its corporate platform in targeted African markets to roll out WiMAX and CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO Rev. A voice and data networks as well as international wholesale voice network services.

Discoverytel Ghana:  Ghana

DiscoveryTel GhanaDiscoveryTel Ghana is a wholly owned subsidiary of DTC based in Accra. DTG operates throughout the Golden Triangle, an area that is bounded by the Capital City of Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi. It operates a wireless data broadband network utilizing WiMAX technology.

LT Mobile: Nigeria

LTMLT Mobile is a 64% owned subsidiary of DTC and was acquired in December 2007.  LTM is licensed to operate a CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO Rev. A voice and data network in the country’s heavily populated Delta Region.  The Region is home to approximately 12 million Nigerians.

Universal Communications: Guinea

Universal Communications (UC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of DTC and was acquired in January 2008. UC is the largest high-speed internet service provider (ISP) in Guinea. UC currently operates under a WiMax license.  UC also holds licenses to operate satellite network services, ISP, voice-over internet protocol (VoIP) and prepaid calling card services.
